The Story
We run all kinds of parties throughout the year, for all different kinds of people
From midweek community parties that play soul music, lovers rock n dads old ska collection (Something lovely)
Late night Joy music from around the globe parties played out of big old honking soundsystems (Pangea)
All night 5 stage bonanzas at an old youth center (A Proper Jungle Night / Big fat feral fiesta)
& Street parties that encourage community involvement and participation.
It’s a pleasure to put on parties for all and we really believe in the community we are creating.

The ethos
We are not business people.
We just love putting on parties and are trying to make our late night dreams come true.
We are still very much learning but we’re putting our whole hearts into this.
We really believe in music, dancing, laughter and how brilliant human beings can be when they are in spaces that make them feel whole.
We have made many lifelong friends over the years, young and old.
Many of these friends are incredible musicians, artists & dancers in their own rights.
Some are just really funny fuckers who we’re glad to have around.
By day, they work in care homes, pubs, building sites & as gardeners etc …
Often those who never get to see the big stage are the most worthy.
They are so deserving of the spotlight and it is a joy to be able to platform and champion them.
Some are old, some are young, some have taught us how to throw parties and it really is an honour to have our teachers involved.
Lots of events and festivals try to create this sense and feeling of “another world”, Whilst I think escapism is incredibly important, that type of escapism isn’t really our angle.
We’d much rather make people feel like they are still in THIS world but feel like this world is a little less shit.
Maybe the best form of escapism is just feeling better for a bit.
We want the weekend to spit people out feeling like they are ready to take on the world with some new friends, rather than they have to go back to the “real world” and put up with the mundane and kinda miserable bollocks of it all.
It’s the simple things man, friendship, dancing, a feeling of belonging, good music, a fire’s going, you’re properly engaged in a conversation with somebody who you wouldn’t normally associate yourself with and against all of the odds you find yourself really interested to hear what they have to say.
Parties are really important to me.
It goes beyond escapism.
These spaces make us feel alive.
It is nice to feel alive.
